About All Things Literary

There is nothing better than sitting down with a good book. But what makes a book "good"? While there can be much subjectivity to this question, it is one I am constantly asking myself as I read. I spent the entirety of my degree program in English and Writing, learning what makes a piece of writing "good." While I don't claim to be an expert, I long to continue this habit whether or not I'm doing it for academic reasons or enjoyment. I am also striving to read more, whether re-reading books from school, old childhood favorites or discovering new books I haven't yet read. Overall, I hope to share my opinions and spark meaningful and fun bookish discussions. I hope to build a community of like-minded people who are passionate about all things literary.
